coming from the I-Mag EB, we passed by Gloria Jeans to have some chillers, then to doc bertus' house to drop him off, and lastly rosie's home @ angono.. on the way home along ortigas ave ext (in cainta) my left-front tire ran flat. jacked up my car and used the spare tire for me to continue driving. after a few minutes, and kilometers away my spare tire burst! @_@ leaving me no option but to stop in the middle of marcos highway (in the middle of the intersection of sta. lucia) and think of a possible resolution. at this point, i dont know what to do, i dont have a second spare tire, my cellphone no longer has credit and no vulcanizing shop or talyers within the vicinity. @_@
after walking, crossing, going up and down the overpass to finally get to Ministop to have my cp's load replenished. calling home if there's a possibility to pick me up and help me find a talyer. again, for some reason, our other car is not in its running condition. tried contacting roseanne or even doc bertus but to no avail.
when all hopes are gone, came an idea of asking taxi's if they can lend me their spare tire! after 3 turn downs from different taxi's (having different reasons one after the other) a good samaritan from wallis taxi, concurred upon an agreement of paying the meter + 200 pesos.
finally, i was able to reach almost home in the nearest vulcanizing shop in our neigborhood. pleased with the driver's bigheartedness, gave him 500 pesos for the 'abala'.
went home, cleaned myself (from the dirt and grime) from changing tires twice and got back to the shop. took some photos here and there to document what happened.
at first I though of doing nighscapes while im in the middle of the highway, but seeking fast resolution FIRST opt me not to shoot.
